Warranty:

While we can't cover vandalism or abuse, we can and do warrant that, properly installed and maintained, our plastic parts will be replaced if they fail within 10 years of delivery and all metal components within 20 years of delivery.

Kidstuff Playsystems warrants the adhesion and gloss retention of its powder-coating for 5 years from the date of delivery. Parts that fade or flake will be re-powder-coated at no charge. Your costs are the removal of the part, shipping it to us, and reinstalling it. This warranty is exclusive of normal wear and tear.

Redwood components, properly installed and maintained, will be replaced if they fail within 10 years of delivery and treated pine components within 20 years of delivery.

Kidstuff Playsystems reserves the right to obtain the written Maintenance Inspection Reports to ensure that the equipment has been properly maintained and to obtain physical or photographic evidence in lieu of on-site inspection.

Replacement parts will be furnished, including shipping in the continental 48 states; labor is not included.

This is the point where our lawyer wanted to put in a lot of small print that would make our warranty worthless, but we told him to turn off his clock. We mean it -- you can't buy a better system than a Kidstuff Playsystem -- and we stand behind it.

Safety:

At Kidstuff Playsystems, we are commited to providing safe playground equipment. As evidence of this, our equipment is now certified by the International Playground Equipment Manufacturer's Association (IPEMA). In order to obtain certification, our products were tested part by part to comply with the rigorous safety standards published in ASTM F1487.

Required notice:

In the interest of public playground safety, IPEMA provides a 3rd Party Certification service whereby Detroit Testing Laboratory, Inc. validates a manufacturer's conformance to the ASTM F1487-01 (excluding section 10 and 12.6.1) Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for Playground Equipment for Public Use.

The use of the IPEMA Certification Seal signifies that Kidstuff Playsystems, Inc. has received written validation from the independent laboratory that the product(s) associated with the use of the seal conform with the requirements of ASTM F1487-01 (excluding sections 10 and 12.6.1).
